I came up with the idea to highlight a special day every day of the year a few years ago because with so many different countries and cultures I felt there had to be something celebrate every day of the year.  I love to learn about all different types of people and felt others might feel the same so thought I could share this passion.

I hope that with learning about others not only will we find more to celebrate but also an understanding of others that may lead to tolerance and acceptance of all.  It is with this in mind that I hope you enjoy this website and the podcast associated with it.
