Independence Day Brazil, September 7

Happy Independence Day Brazil!

 

Celebrated in much the same way that countries all around the world recognize their independence, Brazil has military parades in many of their cities the largest being in the capital Brazilia where the president watches.  With the world getting smaller it is also celebrate in areas outside Brazil as well such as New York (video above is from a few years ago).  People get together to show the pride they feel in their country and show off what makes them special.
